Imageworks Gets In the Game
The team at Imageworks got a crash course in video games while producing a trio of marketing videos for El Cajon-based Mad Catz, maker of state-of-the-art gaming peripherals. Production included coordinating green-screen shoots in New York and Dallas, helming the studio shoot in San Diego, and compositing and editing on the Media100. The eye-catching programs were presented on Mad Catz’ video-wall at the recent industry behemoth Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3); Imageworks also wrapped a group of programs for the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training, in association with KPBS Television. The video series will serve as a training tool for standardizing scenario tests in police academies throughout the state; Power Circuits of Santa Ana called on Imageworks to produce a video tour of their state-of-the-art circuit board manufacturing facility. Imageworks shot on location at Lindbergh Field for Atlanta-based Delta Airlines, and compiled a Columbus Day highlight reel for the United Italian American Association. Imageworks also updated “The Hi-Tech Hold-Up”, a program on credit card fraud they previously produced for Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
